Today were the Antwerp Open Singles.
We got back from Gran Canaria yesterday and first of all... It was friggin' COLD here!! :D
Darts didn't fly too badly after not having touched them all week, but those damned doubles... Lost my first round to a Dutch junior player; Louise Bunk. Missed 6 darts in both the 1st and the 2nd leg so I was 2-0 down. Finished with double 3 in leg 3 and finished 85 with the bull in the 4th leg.
I then missed a 148 check-out on double 14 and then again missed 6 darts on 28... Lesson learned? Switch when your first dart goes just inside the wire of double 14 and go for 6 or 10. And "Switch" happens to be the nick of Louise. :)
Ah well.... Better luck next time. Last 64 today.
