The singles of the Antwerp Open started at 10:00H for the men at around noon for the ladies.
My first game was at 13:00H but I was aggravated by the time I finally got to the venue at 12:20H. Which, in my case; is pretty late because I usually arrive at least an hour and a half before my first game. Heavy traffic and rain etc :(
I managed to wind down a little before my first game. This was against Melissa Jacobs (BE). I played one of the worst games of my life, but won 3-0. Disconnection between my head and my arm I think. Whatever it was... I played a lousy game.
I lost my second game against Carla Molema (NL). Played a little better, but missed a hell of a lot of darts to win 3-2. So; she won 3-2. Really bad day for me is all I can say.
