Another dart-filled weekend in Antwerp. Lousy, cold and windy weather compared to two weeks ago, but better temperature inside the venue. :)
Friday night started with the Amateurs tournament and the mixed pairs. I played with Didier "Didi Kabouter" Paulus.
Luck wasn't on our side though. We had a bye in the first round and then played Tammy and Steve Pearce. We gave away the first 2 legs because neither of us could hit the damn double. We came back to 2-2, but the deciding leg didn't go all that well. :(
The mixed pairs winners are Jamie Hughes/ Paula Jacklin. The runners-up are Pip Blackwell/ Deta Hedman.
The amateurs tournament was won by Sjors Kolvers (NL) and the runner-up was Eddy Gysen (BE)
The pairs are played on Saturday.
