Today was the last day of the Belgian Open and the pairs were played.
I played mixed pairs with John Desreumaux. We played really well; lost in the fourth round.
1st round we played Sofie Lenoir and Randy Elegeert. We took a bit of a crappy start, but we won 3-1.
2nd round we played Paul "Jenno" Jennings and Ruth Green. (Kong's wife) Again, we played really well and we won 3-0.
3rd round we came up against Garry Thompson and Marloes Van Delft. We won that game as well with 3-1. :)
Last 16 and up against Wesley "Sparky" Harms and Vicky Martin. Neither of us played very well. I couldn't find my trebles and Wesley, of course, played very well. So we lost, 3-0.
In the afternoon it was time for the ladies and men's pairs. I played the ladies pairs with Kerstien De Vries. First time ever we played together.
First round we came up against Carine Dessein and Carine Frérot. We had a shaky start in the first leg, but won 3-1.
Second round we were up against Sue and Trina Gulliver. (Yes, the Golden Girl) :s Unfortunately we lost 3-1. We missed a dart in the first leg which would've put us 1-0 up instead of 1-0 down. But well, better luck next time. :)
