Last weekend was the Belgium Open 2014.
Started on Friday with the warming-up. Blind draw, playing in groups of 4. Wasn't really planning on playing, but ended up entering anyway. :)
I was in the first group with Sven Verdonck (B), Jos Bogaerts (B) and Daan Relou (NL). I played Sven first. Cracking game, but I lost 2-0. We were both on a double after 15 darts, but I never got a chance at mine. :) Left 36 in the first leg and 28 in the second one.
I then played against Jos. Horrible first leg, but won 2-1. I also won 2-0 against Daan. The first two of each group went through to the next round. Knock-out.
I had to play Kim Ameryckx (B) and lost 3-1. Still played okay in the first leg, but after that nothing went in anymore.
Good practice though.
There were 127 entries and it was won by Ferry van Veen (NL) who won against Johan van Velzen (NL).
