Another hot sunny day in Antwerp and the last day of the Belgium Open. The most important day of the whole tournament; the singles.
My first game is at 13:00H as I have a bye in the first round. Warming up this morning and a few hours later didn't feel quite right. Darts feel alien and are going everywhere but where I want them to go. :(
I played against Jill Desmedt; also from Belgium. I played the worst game of my life I think. Nothing went in. No mater where I stood or where I aimed or what I tried... It just wouldn't go in. I couldn't hit a decent score to save my life. I thus lost 3-1. Needless to say I was pissed off at myself for playing like a god damn amateur and disappointing the people watching. No idea what happened. It was just like I'd never held a dart in my entire life. Never would have lost if I had played my "normal" game.
Also very disappointed in myself for losing the points I got last year. Every dart player's worst nightmare to play as bad as that when it really matters.
But, no use in crying over spilled milk.

In two weeks we'll all be back at this venue for the Antwerp Open.
Sincerely hope my game is back up to it's normal level by then. In the meantime.... PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!!!
