Sunday at the Belgica Loods. Time to play the singles. Bigger crowd than yesterday and also warmer in there than yesterday.
My first game was at 11:15H against Ria De Meulemeester; also from Belgium. I played better than I had in a while. I even surprised myself by checking out 112 in the 2nd leg. Third leg I started really well with 2 big scores, but then floundered my way to the end. I did win 3-0, but boy oh boy that last leg :s
Next game was at 12:55H against Anneke Kuijten. Neither of us played our usual game. I'd even say it was a far cry from our usual game even. But Anneke won 3-1. She remembered the important part of the game: finish :D
As I said before, I sincerely hope that my game will be up again in two weeks, because this is ridiculous.
The Belgium Open 2015 Ladies Singles champion is Deta Hedman. The runner-up is Fallon Sherrock.
The Belgium Open 2015 Men's Singles champion is Jeffery De Graaf. the runner-up is Dean Reynolds.
It's always good to see everyone again. Missed a few familiar faces though. Hopefully will be able to do the tour again next season.....
