Up very early and on my way to pick up Berry Van Peer for the trip to Esbjerg, Denmark for a weekend of darts. :)
The journey was approximately 956km and took us about 9.5 hours. Exhausted when we finally got to the Esbjerg Conference Hotel. 2 decapitated pigeons in the parking lot... Welcome to Denmark? :s
Anyway... We ordered pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it :D
Saturday the Winmau Denmark Open 2014 was on. I was the number 8 seed (which kinda surprised me) and was in group 1.
I had a bye in the first round and was up against Heike Jenkins in the 2nd round. I played reasonably well, but gave away the game basically. Idiot. :(
I was 3-1 up and let her get into the game and thus lost 4-3. Gutted.
Girl's winner: Sofie Jahn Bendorff (DK) - Runner-up: Michelle Lindhardt (DK)
Boy's winner: Berry Van Peer (NL) - Runner-up: Nikolai Rasmussen (DK)
Ladies' winner: Deta Hedman (ENG) - Runner-up: Rachel Brooks (ENG)
