Early start today. Was on the road by 06:00H to drive to Geldrop to meet with the rest of the gang.
We - Anneke Kuijten, Jorg, Kyana & Levy Frauenfelder and William Baert - left a little after 07:00H to catch the ferry to Selsey in Calais, France.
We ran into heavy traffic in Antwerp. Due to heavy rains etc. So, we were not going to make it on time for the ferry... :( We booked another ferry in Duinkerke though :D
Eventually we made it to the venue just in time for the LDO Ladies Festival of Darts.
90 ladies had entered. Personally I think this was a nice turn out.
First round I played Marie Groves (UK). Won 3-2 (luckily). Second round I played Laura Turner (UK). I met Laura last year in Calella, Spain were we played each other in the quarters. It was a good game with a 120- checkout from myself, but I lost 3-2. :)
The finals of this event will be played Sunday.
