Saturday the singles and the pairs are being played.
The men's singles started at 10:00H and the ladies pairs started at 11:00H. We played in the Marquee which was a big tent at the back of the venue. Rather a lot of wind coming in from all sides though and since I don't really throw my darts that hard... It bothered me some. But, I wasn't the only one. :)
I was paired up with Kirsty Gibbs. Nice young lady from the UK. Unfortunately we lost first round 3-2. I missed 75 and Natasha Eaves checked out 125. She's a junior player, but has quite a lot of talent.
The ladies singles started around 16:00H. I had a bye in the first round and was in group 8.
I played Lisa Prowse (UK) and won 3-0. Played really well the first two legs and then really struggled in the 3rd one, but managed to win that too.
Next round I was up against Paula Jacklin. We both actually played shite, but Paula won 3-2.
Semis and finals will also be played Sunday.
