We arrived at our hotel in Gerardmer. I'm bunking with Anneke Kuijten and Santino Broer is sharing a room with Jeffrey Bekema.
No problems on the drive over. The hotel is further away from the venue than the one I had the past two years, but that's okay.

I was paired with Aileen De Graaf. We lost the first round though. For the first time in three years I was paired with an excellent player and then we come up against two guys who could actually play darts. :( Better luck next time.
Jeffrey Bekema is playing the finals with his pairs partner; a French guy. The are playing Dennis te Kloese and another French guy. Dennis and his partner won.
We got back to the hotel at 01:30H and discovered that the guys couldn't get into their room. I had to get the poor lady out of bed to let them in, thus short night.
Singles tomorrow. Hopefully better than today.
