I set off to the Isle of Man yesterday morning. Flew from Amsterdam to London City and on to the Isle of Man. The weather here was windy and wet and a bit foggy when I arrived.
The Ladies' Classic started at 20:30H. Sponsored by Specsavers.
I actually played pretty well yesterday. Felt good. I lost the board final to Pam Hind 4-1. Treble trouble :(
Had to wait quite long to play my first game. Struggled a bit, but won 4-1. I played against Glad Davies next. Awesome game if I do say so myself. Last leg was very good from both of us. Won 4-1. And then in the board final I played crap again. No two games are ever the same, are they?
Anastasia Dobromyslova vs Lisa Ashton will play the final on Sunday.
