My first time at the Winmau World Masters so I wasn't really sure what to expect.
We took a cab to Costello Stadium and were there a little before 08:00H. It was friggin' freezing outside and not much warmer inside at first.
I had a bye in the first round and then I had to play Kyio Shimizu from Japan. I missed too many darts at the doubles, so I lost 3-1.
Anca also had a bye in the first round and her opponent in the next round didn't turn up. She then played Veronica Skeffington and won 3-0. She played Katrin Spitzer next and beat her 3-2. She played the quarter final against Karin Krappen but lost 3-0.
Sharon Prins played the final against Aileen De Graaf for the International Ladies and Sharon won. She has qualified for Lakeside 2013. Lisa Ashton qualified for the UK ladies.
Tomorrow we play the Winmau World Masters at Costello Stadium. Hopefully my doubles will go in then.
