Up "bright" and early on Friday morning to head to Selsey for the Ladies Festival of Darts and the England Open.
I was picked up at 07:00H at the NH hotel in Geldrop and then Anneke, Michel, Hans, Arno and I were on our way.
We arrived in warm and sunny Selsey in the early afternoon. Didn't know it got so warm in England ;)
Unfortunately there was a problem with Hans' booking of the caravan. They cancelled it so the four of them needed to find a place to stay for the 2 nights. Unbelievable how things like that can happen. :-/ I'm staying in a caravan with Maggie, Deta, Paul and Donna.
Luckily they did find a place to stay in a hotel not too far away.
The Ladies Festival of Darts was being held at the Solent Bar upstairs. I lost in the first round to Natalie Gilbert though. So tired and Natalie played well. Checked out 128 in the 2nd leg, so; not a bad player at all.
The finals were played on Sunday. Aileen De Graaf won. Deta Hedman is runner-up.
