Sunday started out a little cooler than the other days, but that didn't last very long :-/
We played the Luxembourg Masters 2018 on Sunday.
I had a bye in the first round so was supposed to mark at 1150H. However, one of the ladies playing didn't mark on Saturday and thus was disqualified. She wasn't the only one though. Lots of players were disqualified for not marking when they lost.
So I had to wait until 1335H to play my first game on board 35 against Ramona Heirens. By the time the marker showed up I was already drenched and I certainly didn't play my best game, but I managed to win 4-1.
I then got about 10 minutes before my next game. Which wasn't all that much considering you had to go back upstairs and to the other side of the building to get a drink and back downstairs to have a smoke.
I played Julie Thomspson, but missed opportunities. Busted 70 to make it 2-2 so was behind 3-1. I managed to make it 3-2, but eventually lost 4-2.

The Luxembourg Masters 2018 Ladies' Champion is Deta Hedman who beat Aileen De Graaf 5-3 and thus pulls another hattrick. :D
The Luxembourg Masters 2018 Men's Champion is Mario Vandenbogaerde who beat Matt Clarke 6-3. That's 2 Belgian Champions in the men's ;)
The Luxembourg Masters 2018 Youth Champion is Daan Bastiaansen.
