Saturday morning. And another windy, wet and cold one it is. :(
The ladies singles start at noon. The seeding for both men and women don't really make any sense, but we got that sorted... Sort of. Quite a few of us ladies went up to the control desk and asked for an explanation and of course, a correction of the seeding as per the rules. We got our wish :)
These tournaments were organized for the first time, but that doesn't mean you can just make up your own rules.
My first game was at 12:45H against Trina Gulliver. In the first draw I would have played Sharon Prins. Don't know which one is better to start with :D
I played well against Trina, but lost 4-1 because of poor finishing. I took the first leg. Trina took the second leg. I missed 74 to go 2-1 up. Missed another double to make it 2-2 and Trina finished 84 with bull's eye with me on 72. Bummer :(
Better luck Sunday I hope.
