Sunday morning and another lovely, warm day in Police, Poland.
Today the Police Masters were played.
Unbelievable, but true: I had to play Tove Lauridsen again in my first game. This time I won 4-3. Finished 104 for the match: T20-S18-D13 :)
Second round I played Magdalena Kuhl from Sweden. Won 4-0. Easier than my first game; that's for sure. :)
Next round I played Lenka Drtilova from the Czech Republic. Won 4-2. Not my best game either, but survived another round. On to the quarter finals in which I had to play Veronika Ihasz from Hungary. Very good player with a beautiful throw. She missed doubles though (all on the wire) and I won 4-1. Relieved and happy that I made it this far.
Had to play the semi-final on stage against Lumi Silvan. My worst game of the day and Lumi played brilliantly, thus "slaughtering" me with 4-0. But, happy nonetheless because I managed to pick up 14 points and that means I got rid of one box of 12. :D
The Ladies Singles winner is Aileen De Graaf. Runner-up Lumi Silvan.
The Men's Singles winner is Scott Waites. Runner-up Remco Van Eijden.
Youth Girl's winner: Michelle Verberk. Runner-up: Shauni Wastyn.
Youh Boy's winner: Michael Verberk. Runner-up: Nicolai Rasmussen.
I had to wait until all the finals were played to collect my prize money so finally managed to leave there around 21:20H. Dropped off Hans at the Eindhoven trainstation and drove straight to work. :s
