I had a reasonably good night so on Friday morning I was fairly well rested.
Had some breakfast downstairs and spent much of the morning and early noon reading. Weather was nice and sunny all day.
A lot of the players arrived in the afternoon. For once I am not the only Belgian player. There are 6 Belgian guys here as well. ;)
The warming-up pairs were meant to start at 17:00H. Eventually they started a little after 18:00H.
I played pairs with Anca Zijlstra. Went pretty well actually. We made it all the way to the final. Unfortunately we lost 4-2 to Trina and Sue Gulliver. I missed 67 to go 3-3; would've loved to have gone all the way.
We won 3-2 to Lumi Silvan and Rachna David in the semis.
It was a good start to the weekend. :D
The men's pairs were won by James Wilson and Garry Thompson. Runners-up were Same Head and Jake Jones.
