I am very happy to announce that I won the Romanian International Caro Darts Open 2012 Ladies Singles AND the Ladies Pairs together with Jane Shearing.
I must admit that we won our first to games thanks to Jane. :) The final was team work. ;) Thank you Jane!!
Semi-finals..... I played against Jane in the semis and won 4-1. :D
In the final I was up against the Bulgarian girl, Anelia Eneva. I lost to her Friday in the warming-up tournament. She is a 20-year old player who actually hasn't been playing that long, but has a lot of potential. Basically... She's a natural talent.
I won the finals 5-3 and believe me; I was relieved to hit the winning double. :) Double top and double ten had been failing me all weekend, but luckily double ten didn't fail me now. :D
It has been an exhausting weekend, but I'm glad I made the trip.
The winners of the men's pairs are Geert De Vos and Martin Philips and the winner of the men's singles is Jeffrey De Graaf who played brilliantly against Martin Philips and finished 161 for the match. Congrats Jeffrey.
