Sunday we played the singles. And yes, all the boards were replaced by official Winmau boards. :) Much to the joy of all dart players.
My first game was in the afternoon. Hard to focus when the temperature is too high and there's a buzzing crowd around. But, I managed to struggle into the last 16 and that's were my "luck" ran out. Nothing went in anymore. No trebles, no doubles. Nada.
Kathy Geeraerts vs Anita Tobias (Lux) 3-1
Kathy Geeraerts vs Wendy Leemans (Bel) 3-1
Kathy Geeraerts vs Kelly Streef (NL) 3-1
Irina Armstrong (RUS) vs Kathy Geeraerts 4-0
The Ladies' Singles winner was Aileen De Graaf (NL). Runner-up was Fallon Sherrock (ENG)
Fallon had a very good weekend :D
The Men's Singles winner was Wesley Harms (NL). Runner-up was Jan Dekker (NL)
In the Youth the winners were Lena Edge (GER) in the Girl's singles and Job Ten Heuvel (NL) in the Boy's singles event.
The whole weekend came to a close with a karaoke night. Sang a few songs. DJ was crap and didn't have a lot of choice. Will try to get them to book a friend of mine for next year. He's got a lot more songs with him and he knows how to entertain people.
