Arrived at the B&B around 16:00H. Same one as last year because I liked it here so much. Nice young couple owns it and they still knew me :D
Sunshine all the way, but in the meantime the sun has gone into hiding behind some dark clouds. They did say that it'd probably rain the entire weekend. Not nice, but... I'm here to play darts, right? ;)
Pretty quiet and uneventful drive here. Except the fact that a big pebble hit the windshield so now I'll have to get it fixed. They gave me the number for Carglass here. I'll check my insurance if Switzerland is included in my insurance. :s IF not, I'll pray that the damage stays as it is now until I get home.
Tonight is the warming-up tournament. Just like last year it will be blind draw pairs. I wonder who I'll be paired up this year....
The venue opens at 18:30H so I'll be leaving here around 18:00H. Lots of small country roads to take if I remember correctly from last year.
This year I was paired with Antonio "The Brain" from Catalunya. We had to play Tobias Anliker and "The Pirate" first round and lost. I played the blind draw pairs with Tobias Anliker. :D
Blind draw pairs were won by Ron Meulenkamp and Martin Jongejan.
